Hey y’all, my name is Todd Lombardo. I’m a small business owner who is sick of sitting on the sidelines watching Democrats play chess while Republicans smash the board. Why are we letting fascist wannabes and random rich people mess with our country? We can do better than this.

I’m a new kind of Democrat running to take our fighting spirit to Congress as your Representative for the 37th District.

Do you know who your Representative is and what they’ve done for us? Are you happy with what it feels like to live in Los Angeles right now? I’m not. Our current group of establishment Democrat leaders led by Karen Bass over the past two decades have taken our tax dollars but dropped the ball.

It’s time for change. 

About me.

Like a lot of you, I was not born here, but LA is my chosen home. I was the shy gay kid who was told all my dreams were wrong. So I found my spine early, fighting for what I knew was right: mutual respect, personal freedom, equal power for everyone, and above all, not being an asshole. 


Like me, a lot of you might feel that our democracy doesn’t work so well anymore. But I’m here to tell you that burning down the house because of a few drafty windows is not the right answer. Instead, I’m proposing a New Bill of Rights for the 21st Century which you can read about right here.

We know how to do this.

We’re Angelenos. We know how to fight. And we know how to win. Join me, and let’s take our fighting spirit to Washington.
