We all know that healthcare is broken and Congress has been ineffective at fixing it. Premiums go up, coverage goes down, insurance get involved in more decisions, and the whole process is so complicated you avoid going to the doctor. When I’m elected, I will introduce Stop Worrying About Your Healthcare legislation, with real solutions that can be implemented today:

1. Lower Medicare eligibility to 50. This would immediately bring relief to millions, while also reducing pressure on the ACA.

2. Cap premium hikes for three years, and then match hike increases to inflation so families don’t have to choose between rent and health coverage.

3. Demand $50 urgent care visit for everyone. So you have access to a doctor when you need it.

4. Extend Medicare-negotiated prescription costs to the ACA. If Medicare folks can get a better price, so should you. 

5. End surprise bills. Know costs before you go - just like any other transaction a consumer enters into.
