Stop Worrying About Your Healthcare

Healthcare in America is broken and Congress has been ineffective at fixing it. Premiums are too high, coverage is too low, insurance gets involved in too many decisions. When I’m elected, I will introduce Stop Worrying About Your Healthcare legislation, with real solutions that can be implemented today:

  1. Lower Medicare eligibility to 50. This would immediately bring relief to millions, while also reducing pressure on the ACA.

  2. Cap premium hikes for three years, and then match hike increases to inflation so families don’t have to choose between rent and health coverage.

  3. Demand $50 urgent care visit for everyone. So you have access to a doctor when you need it.

  4. Extend Medicare-negotiated prescription costs to the ACA. If Medicare folks can get a better price, so should you.

  5. End surprise bills. Know costs before you go - just like any other transaction a consumer enters into.

  6. A real Plan for Medicare For All - no more vague promises or slogans, but a real plan to make Medicare for All a reality in the next five years: the road to success, the votes and funding it will take, how it will work, and key milestones.
