Affordability
Problem: Everyday items are too expensive. What $100 would buy you two years ago will get you only half now. Eggs, milk, bread, fruits and veggies - everything keeps going up, and Congress is not doing enough to save you money. We need to focus on helping you keep more of your money.
Actions: Here are initiatives I will fight for:
Repeal the Trump Tariffs. We will rewrite the trade laws so no president can slap on a tax without Congress and the people weighing in.
Send Americans a grocery rebate check. Return tariff money to the American people.
Repeal the tax bill that increased taxes for the middle and working classes.
Eliminate federal taxes on new small businesses for the first two years. Let’s give small business owners the best chance to succeed by helping them follow their dreams.
