Proud to be LGBTQ+

It’s time to have more LGBTQ+ voices in Congress  — not just to be seen, but to get things done, so we don’t have to wonder what rights we lose every time we cross a state line. When in Congress, I will introduce Proud To Be LGBTQ+ legislation that will:

Lock LGBTQ+ rights into federal law — including housing, healthcare, and public accommodations nationwide. Our rights that Congress has failed to make law shouldn’t depend on our zip code or loopholes that let discrimination hide behind “religious freedom”.

Permanently fund LGBTQ+ youth and mental-health services — including school-based counseling and LGBTQ crisis support — instead of letting lifesaving programs quietly expire, because protecting LGBTQ+ youth is how we protect the future of this country.

Protect the right of Trans adults to access medically necessary care by keeping politicians and bureaucrats out of the exam room. Medical decisions should be made by patients and their doctors — not by the government.
